Jeff LaBerge, CFA, is a versatile and experienced Operations and Finance executive based in San Diego, California. With a career spanning 22 years, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and consulting skills with small to mid-size companies in various industries. Jeff possesses a unique combination of financial and operational expertise, making him well-versed in investment, financial services, renewable energy, cleantech, real estate, agriculture, medical cannabis, and healthcare.

Currently, Jeff LaBerge serves as the Chief Operating Officer of CannaMed Panama, S.A., a company aiming to establish itself as a vertically integrated medical cannabis enterprise in Panama City, Panama.

Prior to his current role, Jeff LaBerge, CFA, co-founded and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Viaspace California, Inc. Viaspace is a pioneer in the Industrial Hemp & CBD Market, operating as a vertically integrated entity. Under Jeff’s leadership, Viaspace became one of the first companies to legally cultivate hemp in California. The company has already established 105 acres of high CBD hemp, with plans for rapid expansion in 2020 and beyond.

Since 2018, Jeff is the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Viaspace California, Inc. Viaspace is the industry forerunner in the newly created Industrial Hemp & CBD Industries. The business is vertically integrated throughout the entire hemp supply chain, from seed to oil.

Jeff LaBerge possesses a diverse skill set that encompasses financial and operational proficiencies across multiple sectors. Additionally, he is a CFA Charterholder, further highlighting his expertise in investment and financial services. Prior to Viaspace, Jeff provided management consulting and business development services in San Diego, primarily focusing on the healthcare, renewable energy, and agriculture industries.

Furthermore, Jeff LaBerge was one of the founding Principals of HHG Group, an asset management firm located in San Diego. In this role, he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s private investment, project financing, and investment activities. His extensive experience includes the renewable energy sector in the United States and Mexico, as well as clean-tech, healthcare, and financial services.
